Instead of turning to God for guidance, Christians turned to the state and the media.
Scripture is clear that God is to be second to no one in regard to our allegiance.

What is Christianity but a collection of those who proclaim the most radical act of forgiveness in human history? Jesus Christ’s self-sacrificial death on behalf of a sin-tattered world is an incredible act of love by God. Radical forgiveness. For all people. Not just those of a certain ethnicity. Or for only the “really good” ones.
Such radical love and forgiveness should permeate the lives of Christians.

This past week televisions have been flooded with scenes of crowds across the United States cheering the killing of Osama Bin Laden. However, it is nearly ten years after 9/11 and Osama was never charged with the crime. There will be no trial. No evidence of his guilt. No attempt to get to the truth.
We are expected to accept the government’s word that he was killed as described with no proof of any kind. This while they immediately destroy any evidence and change their story of what happened daily.
